Instagram and facebook both are well known plateform and use globally. Personally i like instagram because it gives us more entertainment than facebook. We can take pictures and also using different filters in instagram.

Both the platforms are quite popular. In fact Instagram is also owned by Facebook. I am not there on Instagram. I have been on Facebook for years now but I am not much active there. In fact you can say that I hardly use Facebook. I am not much into social media sites. Whatever free time that I get for cyberspace, I use most of them on forum sites. I find them as a better option and more productive use of my time. But we can't deny the fact that social media platforms are a vital tools in today's life. Your social media presence can bring a lot of value to youe personal and professional life, if it is used wisely.
I have an impression that Instagram is more popular among younger generations. My ekder daughter enjoys it and she is not on Facebook. Most of her friends are on Instagram and not on Facebook. Facebook being an old platform is popular in all generations groups.

I heard the same thing about Instagram. It io more entertaining and modern. Guess that is the main reason that most youths prefer it over Facebook. But when it comes to business promotion or earning directly or indirectly from the social media platforms, I have heard that both are equally good. One of my friends selle artwork through social media platforms. Shr has accounts with both Facebook and Instagram. Once during one conversation, she mentioned that her business account has n Instagram has got her more orders than her Facebook page. Well, that might be an individual's experience and perception. In other forums too few people advocate Instagram business account for business. I have no experience of business promotion with either of them. All my inputs are based on what I have collected from others through personal conversation or on various forums.
