Degree is not necessarily important for success but there is a kind of field that you need a degree before you can be successful.
To back up my reason for saying that one must not necessarily have a degree before being successful, we look at some of the world figures we have such as Aliko Dangote and people like Mark Zuckerberg who were said to have possessed no college degree but still were very successful people in life.
So I will always be of the opinion that success must not be backed by a college degree and even if you need some knowledge, it must not be that you have a degree.
Even with no degree, one can be very successful in his or her field of endeavour as far as other things that are very necessary are in place
