Heat rashes, also called prickly heat, can be an uncomfortable and embarrassing condition for children. They are caused by sweat being trapped under the skin, which then clogs pores.
Luckily, there are a few simple steps you can take to get rid of your child's heat rash and give them some relief:

1. Keep your child cool. Make sure they are wearing breathable clothing and not being exposed to extreme heat for long periods of time.

2. Dry your child's skin thoroughly during and after baths.

3. If you have an infant with a heat rash, avoid applying lotions or creams that could further clog pores, such as baby oil or diaper cream.

4. Use calamine lotion to dry up the rash.

5. Keep the rash out of sun, heat, and sweat.

6. Put some cool water on it for some relief.

7. Have your child take a cool bath or shower.

8. Try using hydrocortisone cream as well.

9. Make sure you're not using any scented products on your child's skin -- fragrances can irritate skin with rashes.

10. You can also apply medicated powder.
