Without knowing SEO, Is it feasible to be a Copywriter?

AM not comfortable with SEO, but am a copywriter strictly provides Web content.

Do I have a opportunity or SEO is mandatory?

If you only provide web content I think SEO would be a helpful tool. It might be possible to be a copywriter without it but your work might not have as big an impact as with SEO.
