We all must realise that health is very important for us. Nowadays people are suffering from many health issues and there is a big reason for that. In the olden days people rarely used to suffer from health conditions during their 50's or 40's. However, now even many young adults are suffering from many disease and there are many reasons for that.

A Lack Of Physical Activity


Many people do realise that physical activity is great for us and physical activity is required by our body to remain fit. But nowadays majority of the people are not fit because they are not physically active at all and this is a very common problem.

Eating Unhealthy Food


Consuming healthy food is the key to live a longer life and stay healthy, but now I have seen that many people prefer eating unhealthy food. I have also noticed that more fast food restaurants have opened and in the past there were not many fast food restaurants. This has also made many people addicted to eating unhealthy foods.

Unhealthy Lifestyle

There are many other important lifestyle habits that are making people unhealthy and some of the unhealthy habits include using smartphones all the time, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, etc. Some people stay awake late at night and this is a common reason why many people suffer from diseases.

You are right, primarily I think these three points you have mentioned are really the points that covers all areas. I think unhealthy lifestyle really carry the day with this, people are realy abusing substances which are really detrimental to one’s health. How can you take into your body toxic that will keep it intoxicated by some long hours? Of course the chemical reaction in the body wouldn’t be a positive one. it is one that would cause real damage to the body

This is why I don’t pity some people that were playing judo with their health back in the day. You go around with committing unprotected sex, you are really joking with your reproductive health and when the repercussions comes the feigned ignorance. Well, you can only deceive yourself, if you think your health wouldn’t deteriorate. Another is people that live on mostly junks that are mere calories and no nutritional values; you are playing with your health. Unhealthy diets don’t build the body instead it takes from the body, because when once your immune system is down, then you have no resistance to bacteria and other viruses that attack the body. so people need to learn to uphold their health

It is the dream of every normal human being to be healthy without any entanglement of sickness.

Health challenges hinders a whole lot of progress and opportunities in life.

There are many ways one can lead a healthy life, and not to visit a doctor more frequently.

Eating healthy is one of the vital ways to keep healthy.
Every meal you eat should comprise of all the classes of food, and should be a balance diet.
Lack of doing so, can bring down the immune system .

While eating right, be sure to avoid taking in excess fat which can cause high cholesterol and lead to health problems, hypertension, obesity e.t.c.

Make sure to take in lot of water, it helps to reduce the risk of having some diseases.
It makes the brain more active, and gives the body more agility.

EXERCISE: also plays one of the vital roles to making the body fit and fights against health challenges that may want to show it's face.

SLEEP: It's good to sleep.
Mostly when it's time to sleep.
I mean, the time you've scheduled out of your daily activities to take a nap.
It is one way also to keep the body sound.

It is also good to TAKE A WALK.
Not staying indoors all the time.

One common way lots of persons are suffering from health issues is by over working themselves. Most people today do not have enough time to rest or relax themselves, hence they end up over working themselves. Another way is not having enough sleep as well. The amount of sleep that the body really needs is 8 hours, once you do not have enough sleep, over time it would affect the body and it's system.

Majority of individuals are becoming sick today as a result of not putting their environment into proper consideration . some people live in dirty and untidy environments that have a lot of health negative effect on their health . The environment in which we live and which side must be kept neat and tidy free from every bacteria and fungi that are able to attack us making us to be sick and diseased . We should also avoid the misuse of drugs because when we overdose ourselves with drugs that may not be right for the sickness we are suffering or drugs that have been expired for a real long time it put us at risk to suffer from other health disease like heart related health issues .

Also engaging in unwholesome activities like over drinking and smoking can also affect our health , individual student that are suffering from majority of health and stomach issues are in the condition and situation in which they are as a result of engaging in over drinking and excessive smoking . over drinking and excessive smoking has the ability to shorten our lifespan , and if we have the intention to live a healthier it is advised that we avoid smoking and over drinking by all means .

There are so many diseases and conditions that people suffer from these days indeed. In the past, people would stay healthy for a really long time and there were not so many young lives lost to health problems. It shows that there are so many things that have changed these days and so People's bodies are reacting to these changes.

One of those changes is lack of physical activity. These days, people live really luxurious lives where they don't do much work, they use vehicles to go everywhere and their foods are just found in a nearby market or stored in the house, unlike people in the past who has to hunt and gather for food.

Another thing that has changed alot is people's eating habits. In the past, people ate a lot of fruits, vegetables and herbs and so their immunity and health in general was very strong. These days, people eat food filled with unhealthy fats, so much salt and are genetically modified.

Lastly, technology has been great but it has come with so many negative health effects. Look at the radiation emitted by most gadgets that are carcinogenic. Then these gadgets and technological improvements make people spend so much time with them, some don't even sleep well because of them.

You talked about lifestyle, i didn't expect "smart phones use". We tend to ignore this probably because it does its damages in a stealth mode

In this modern era, technology has made our life much easier. We can do all the work with a smart phone without wasting any time. Mobile phones are used by children, adults and the old people.

Mobile phones are making the life of everyone easy and comfortable but it has a negative side too on our health. Smart phones have become so popular that many people don’t know what life was like before them.

Mobile phones emit radiation that is not good for our health. Radiation is the effect of radio waves on living cells or tissues. The radiation emitted from mobile phones causes lots of health problems like cancer, brain tumors, depression and sleeping disorder etc.

The radiation from mobile phone causes depression because it reduces serotonin level in brain that is related to sleep, anger, emotions and appetite etc. Mobile phone radiation also contributes to sleep disorder because of less generation of melatonin in our body which the hormone responsible for good sleep. It also disrupts melatonin production that leads to cancer.

The electromagnetic radiations emitted by these devices are very harmful to human body as they cause hyperactivity in children, fatigue, tension and depression in adults and even brain tumors in long term users of mobile phones

Mobile phone users are facing several health issues due to excessive use.

Just like the poster observed, there is more people that are having health issue these days. There are many reasons why people are having this issue. And most of them include:

There is more hustling and bustling these days. People are always eager to involve in many sources of income. This will not bring them peace of mind as they wont have time for themselves. And just like motor cars and other machine, our bodies need rest. If we don't rest, we may break down untimely. To solve this problem, we just need to have time management. We need to have the time for each activity that we may be engaging in.


Another issue is the eating of junk food. People do not mind what they eat. They eat just to fill their stomach and not really care about the repercussion of what they out into their mouth. This has affected many people's health. To really solve this problem, then balanced diet should be taken care of.

Unhealthy lifestyle is the last thing I will expatiate. People don't really care these days the way they live their lives. Some smoke, others drink without putting caution to what they are doing. And this have caused dentrimental issue.

The options you explained is very correct which is the reason why most people suffer series of health issues during their prime. Neglecting physical fitness exercises has its negative effect during later stages of my life, coupled with unhealthy foods, and bad lifestyle which you've outlined. Some people are so indebted to smoking, drinking excessive alcohol, which is an abuse to their health. Even if you're exercising a lot, and eating healthy foods too, provided you take excessive alcohol and smoke, you're endangering your health. Drug abuse cause more damage than it's pressure, no matter the good food, it will not add value to our life, instead it will diminish our health, making the body to shrink I side, even if it isn't showing up physically. Those who do smoke suffers from one sickness to another, which leads to kidney problem, heart problem, the smoke penetrates through the health, which doesn't bring forth positive, instead causing the kidney or the heart to weaken. It is better to refrain from unhealthy lifestyles, not just drug abuse, also from engaging with wrong peers, unhealthy discussions and other sorts of social vices. Such scenarios aren't suitable for good life, the end product is destruction.

People have health problems nowadays because they don't use the drugs doctors give them and when they complain to the doctor they will give me them drugs but they will not use it which is not good.so try to always use your drugs and also prevent your self from getting sick

You are very correct, unhealthy life style attracts sickness automatically. When people live dirty, sicknesses associated with dirt becomes a vone of contention in their life. They contact different infections and diseases, diseases like cancer of different types, breast cancer is one common one for women when they act dirty repeat undergarments for alot of times without washing, even wearing tight stuffs like that, toilet infections is another common disease.


Another cause of sickness is eating unhealthy, eating food that is not balanced. It brings down the immune system and opens door for sickness of different kinds. An unhealthy diet can lead to health issues such as malnutrition, poor digestion, inflammation, unwanted weight gain and obesity. It can also increase your risk of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease, and impact your mental health. Because your gut is directly linked to your brain through a cranial nerve, your diet can even impact your mental health.


Having a lazy life style can cause sickness, living without working or doing exercises can be very dangerous. Being active is necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Exercising regularly can improve your mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Physical activity helps you build muscles and strong bones.

The reason why hospitals are having more patients to deal with now is because of the reckless lifestyle of people toward their health like feeding habit some people just eat what ever they see not minding their health or anything which is very bad our health should be our number 1 priority because health is wealth without been healthy there's nothing we can do or achieve.

Some people dont even take their exercises daily and later complain of body pain or other pains which shouldn't be so we should take exercises daily and also drink a lot of water because water also plays a major role.

We should also try to get enough sleep this is another thing which many people always fail to do often including myself we should stop the habit of sleeping late because the ealir we sleep the ealirer we are going to wake up therefore we should maintain good timing of our sleep too much sleep is not good for the body and lack or getting not enough keep is not good for our body we should also maintain good position when sleeping this is another thing which plays a key role in your health living.

Yes, I agree with you. Sickness, as well as anxiety and sadness, are caused by a sedentary lifestyle. You are correct that we should continue to work out.
