Attending to needed business permits for a start up

When starting a formal business that would need to be registered there is a trap that you should know. In our country you have to register the trade name which takes approximately 2 weeks with no red tape but usually it takes 1 month. You also have to register with the local government (town or city) for the business permit which we call mayor’s permit. Usually that takes 1 month but it can be longer depending on the schedule of the mayor for his signature. Lastly the business needs to be registered to the tax registrar to obtain the printing permit for the official receipt of the business.

Imagine if you are renting the business space for an office or store while working on the permits. That would be a big expense to be paying rent with no business yet. That happened to a friend who opened a gas station. His business started after 3 months of attending to the permits. The monthly rental was $2,000 a month.

Ours is different here you can start your business before getting the permits so it wouldn’t affect starting the business without any permits. This is why it is always good to study how a location business opportunities work before indulging in it. It can be very bad to kick-start a business with a huge loss
