Burnout is a severe threat that can cause damage to your mind and body. One way of managing it is by being able to identify its symptoms, resting regularly, setting limits for your work, considering yourself as the priority, interacting with your boss, passing on tasks to others, seeking out people who could help you out, having realistic objectives, celebrating success times and again, reconsidering one’s own priorities, begin using that word “no”, not only taking days off but also thinking about the possibility of flexible working hours or career growth through specialization or pursuing of psychological assistance. All these things can help one strike a balance between professional life and family responsibilities; release tensions thereby richly contributing towards achievement of general well-being. Besides this, if burnout continues despite all the above measures taken then get some professional help because it will teach you how to cope with it and support you in it. The most important thing is to proactively manage burnout so as not to compromise personal health and job satisfaction. Seek advice from HR or mental health professionals if you suffer from chronic burnout in order to find long-term solutions.
