With all the stress that comes with running a business, sometimes you just need to take a step back and be reminded of what's important.

1. Breathing Exercise:There are many studies on the importance of our breath, and it can have a significant impact on your mental health. Our first exercise has you focus on your breath, which will bring you into the present moment. Once you are aware of what is around you, you'll be less likely to let stress control your mood or actions. If you're feeling particularly stressed out, try doing this exercise daily.

2. Meditation Tip:Next, we have a tip from renowned meditation teacher Sharon Salzberg. She suggests drawing the letter "A" in the air with each breath to help keep your practice focused.

3. Inspirational Quote:This last one is all about staying positive. It might seem like there's too much negativity to combat, but your attitude can have a huge impact on how stressful your day is and how well you're able to handle problems that come up. Start your day off on the right foot by choosing an inspirational.

4. Identify your triggers:
The first step to dealing with stress is identifying what's causing it in the first place. Are there things about your job that are making you feel stressed? Is it a co-worker, or a client? What about your boss or colleagues? Is it something outside of work that's bothering you as well? Jot down some notes about what's causing your stress and what makes you feel most anxious. Then try to identify patterns in those notes: if there are specific days of the week when you're more stressed than others, or if there are certain conversations with specific coworkers that always get under your skin. Identifying these patterns can help you start to determine what exactly is causing your stress levels to rise and fall and avoiding it.
