A car that is totally wrecked is very cheap to buy. Sometimes you can even get it for free so that the owner can be spared of the cost of disposing the wreckage. But you need a good mechanic to check the entirety of the car.

First is the potential of the engine to be back in running condition. Next is the underchassis which is expensive if required a replacement. The body is not much since the material is not costly. If the estimates are good then buy the car and have it repaired. On the average you will spend about 20% of the cost of the car that if you can sell then your gross profit is 80% where you can deduct the cost of the repairs. You will still be left with a substantial net profit.
