Sesame seeds are small in appearance but good in quality. Sesame seeds come in two forms. Black sesame and white sesame. Of these, black sesame is the healthiest. It is suggested to take it in the morning on an empty stomach.

Sesame is a storehouse of nutrients. The benefits of consuming a pinch of sesame seeds daily are many. Sesame is a storehouse of amino acids and fatty acids. One tablespoon of sesame has only fifty two calories, fats, carbohydrates, protein, copper, and calcium.

It also contains magnesium, iron, zinc and thiamine. Sesame seeds are best for improving memory. Sesame seeds are beneficial for intellectual development and elimination of phlegm. Diabetics should eat a small amount of sesame seeds daily to help control their blood sugar levels.

Hi @raaman! Sesame seeds are a great way to help control blood sugar levels. They contain a lot of magnesium, which also helps to control blood sugars. Magnesium is a mineral that most people don't get enough of in their diets. You can roast them in a skillet and add them to your rice or any stir fry. They're a crunchy, tasty way to get more magnesium in your diet.

To get good quality sesame seeds, buy organic sesame from an organic store. One of my favorite organic stores in Singapore is Nature's Glory.

If a person is diagnosed as having high blood sugar, then he needs to take measures to bring the sugar level under control. This is very important. He cannot ignore that. Otherwise, it may lead to some other complications for which he only have to suffer. So, he has to pay attention.
