The population of a particular area which a business is situated is considered to be one of the major factor that determine the success rate of the business . To be more elaborate , businesses that centres on the act of buying and selling of consumer and essential goods and commodity like food stuff and other related food items solely depends on the population to make profit . In this case the higher the population they handle their capacity to make profit but the lower the population the lower their potential or capacity to make profit . but have you ever asked yourself does large population have any implication on a particular country ? Of course it does below are some of the implications :

CRIME RATE INCREASE : countries and regions of the world with high population density are prone to economic problems like lack of job , hence people sought to crimes leading to high crime rate like : arm robbery , miscreant , hoodlums , car snatching , and hired assassins etc . And even business organisations situated in areas like this are prone to this man made disasters .

ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION : due to poor housing condition in areas with high population density individuals tend to live on the streets and carry on most of the activities in the Streets thereby polluting the environment and make it unsuitable for business establishers to establish their business . And also to the government it make it uneasy for the government to carry out capital or revenue project since this areas are being polluted by humans .

Large population can either have a positive and negative impact on a society if we look at it from the world lens you'll find out that we have countries that have the largest populations and they are most prosperous countries.

One of them is China, they have the largest population in the whole world but their economy is thriving and they're always creating a new technology t make their lives easier, even though this feat was not achieved in a day, it was a great work that was started by the late chairman Mao, this shows you that a large population can be a blessing if it is well contained.

An example of a country with large population and unproductive government and citizens is Nigeria, even though it is a developing country and a lot of work is being put to move it forward, a lot of things seems stagnant, our population is way above 200Million and every year we add like 11 million on top of our population which is way too much.

Most youths are unemployed and unproductive, involved in different kind of vices like Internet fraud, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and all.

Also there are other segment of the youth even though minority that are changing the narrative.

Some people do not believe in having so much population while there are some who believes have a very high population will be of a great benefit to the country where such population resides, they boost with the statement t which states that there is power in numbers. But anyway in my own perspective I believe that having an optimum population is key to having economic growth and development, when we say optimum population we agree that it is a situation where the natural resources in a country actually equates the populations of that particular country. There should ways be an equilibrium between population and resources, hence there will always be a conflict when the population outweighs the available resource we could be sure that there with.certainly be poverty in that land. And when the resources outweigh the population the resources will be under utilized and this again can lead to wastage and in the long run there will be poverty because a lot of resources are not been utilized. So the only challenge he I see with population growth is that many times they are not been educated and once you have a population of uneducated people it is most likely there will be poverty.
