Career choice has always been an important part of life as it has a long and life time effect. The career path which you take will ultimately determine your future destination and level of success that you can attain. Therefore it must be given much attention and consideration. Here are some things to avoid when making career choice decision.

✓ Lack of resoluteness. It is very dangerous when you do not have a definite resolution. You must be able to sit down and carefully outline all the things in your mind to see and determine the best option for you. You have o have reasons for it and make sure you stick to them.

✓ Giving in to discouragement. You must never allow people around you or the circumstances around you to make you rethink your decision. Once you have made a choice then you must have to stand with it because there will certainly be people there to discourage you.

✓ Laziness. In career pursuit there is no place for laziness. Laziness is the transmission highway for failure. Being lazy entitles you to the post of a loser. One must avoid the act of laziness at all cost and work assiduously to see that the set aim is achieved.

These are very good tips on what to avoid when choosing a career path. I think this should be taught to students right from when they are still young. Like in primary school or junior secondary so that they can grow up thinking about what they want to do in life.

Then parents, guardians and teachers should be encouraged to embrace what their children choose to be in life. Most of them are talking out of passion and saying anything against them may discourage them.

A child's career can also be seen from talents, abilities and what they get good at easily. So people around them should encourage them to do more of what they like and are good at.

A lot of people choose a career because they have seen someone being very successful in that career field. Someone is successful in a certain career field does not mean you will also be successful. The second mistake I see people doing is they give importance to only their passion, they never check whether they can actually learn that skill or not. Having passion on certain things is nice but you also need to see if you can master the skill. Third mistake is people do not do research to find out if the chosen career field will make money for them or not.

First of all, don't rush into anything just because it sounds good or seems like a good idea at the time. Take time to think about what kind of work you would like to do and how much money or prestige it would bring you. You may find that the things that seem most appealing at first end up being less than ideal for your needs and goals later on down the road!

It's also important not to rush into making decisions just because someone else has made them for you. especially when it comes to choosing a career path! If someone tells you what they think is best for YOU based on their own experiences then it may not be as accurate as if they had asked YOU directly instead of telling YOU what THEY thought was best for THEIR circumstances (and therefore their opinion).

Pursuing a career need one doing it with vigor to achieve the aim at the end of the day. This is why there should be no place for discouragement. one just have to keep at and avoid enabling any circumstances to make you rethink your decision. Don't be discouraged just go ahead with it.

Same with laziness, this is like the greatest here when once you become lasy your career pursuit is gone . I totally agree with you that Laziness is the transmission highway for failure. Being lazy kills whatever positive thing any one proposed to do you must always live above laziness.
