As far as am concerned the major problem bedevilling the manufacturing sector in my country is electricity, electricity problem is not affecting only the manufacturing sector but every sector and lives in the country. Many of the manufacturer spend billions to power up their plant on gas, diesel and petrol which is getting more expensive by the day. The present administration has performed rather woefullyin all the major sector of the economy. Power which has to be one of the things that brings development to any economy has been grossly neglected. This has made I very difficult for manufacturing industries at home to compete favourably with their manufacturing counterpart outside the country. This is why it seems like we have the raw materials yet we can not process them and we take them outside the country to be processed and bring them back again to be bought at an exorbitant rate. This is seriously killing our infant industries.

Then another problem is the problem of bad roads all over the federation. All the federal and state roads are in a deplorable state, this even made some truck drivers who are suppose to supply raw material to down tools somany times vecsuse they experience accident and lost of lives and even damages to goods.
