There are a lot of gains that comes with personalizing training for employees in your workplace. You wouldn't only be training to specifications but you would be bringing out the best in a worker

it is of essence that every employee learns the policies of the company, but the employer have the duty of personalizing the rest of their training.

So how can an employer customized training to suit each worker

Ask about their preferred learning style.

When an employer have a new employee on onboard. The wise thing to do is to ask them about their preferred learning style. Adopt the preferred style to get the desired results

Be on ground to teach
You don't have to be a distance employer get involved in the training. Know the employees better to customize the training to suit them

use personalized styles
Adopt personalized styles like asking the employees to read instructions or learn via presentations.

This is called man management. It recognizes that every individual is different and tailors training regimes to accommodate the specialty of every individual. Every one has a method of receiving instructions and guidelines. There are those that can take it when it is passed generally and there are those that you have to move closely to pass same instruction. So, it increases efficiency is you can deliver personalized training programmes for your staff.

On the other hand, it is very expensive for an organisation to deliver personalized training for all employees and potential employees. I think the best way is yo identify those with special characteristics and deliver training to them based on their characteristic. Some sensitive departments also require some special set of skills. You can train employees for this department in these special skills. In all, everyone is not the same and you should work with employees based on their special characteristics.
