Why Do Rich People Have More Powers Than Poor People?

It seems rich people have the world powers than the poor people. At first I thought we were all equal because we have the same equal right and justice but this is not so. Rich people have power that we all know, although in many countries they all have equal right and justice because no one is above the law there and whether you are rich or poor the law will deal with you.

But in most cases, especially on my continent and in country, the rich people have power hands over the poor people. Here the power is in the hands of the rich people without a doubt. I remember I was on watching television one day and they brought a fifteen years old boy is a prisoner and he is serving ten years in jail all because he was mingling with the daughter of a rich man. This poor boy was accused of dating the young girl of the rich man and the father of the girl reported the poor boy to the police of raping his daughter who is under age.

Well, even if he is under age thee boy is also under age but when the case went to court, they reported that the boy is nineteen years of age and what surprises everyone was they were able to bring fake voter's ID card as a prove of his age.

No one know where they were able to get this voter's ID card from but looking at the face of this young boy everyone can see he is fourteen or fifteen years of age but power and richness is talking here and everyone has to be mute.

So I say rich people have power hands over the poor people.

One of the great things about being rich is that you can buy whatever you want. You know money rules the world, you don't know about the power or respect that comes into being rich. Not everyone is rich, if everyone is rich, I don't think their could've been superiority complex. The poor aren't respected in the public places all that much, because they don't have money, the rich are valued because they have money, the people around them knows they can benefit monetary reward from the rich, but the poor can't assist anyone when money issues arise. When it comes to defining riches, I can say, when your primary needs are catered for, and you have additional for secondary needs, living in a compatible apartment is a tremendous option to be considered as living comfortably. You shouldn't get everything before you can be considered as a rich man.

This really happens in most African countries in which bribery and corruption is taking over so many things and when people are rich, they seems to be the one in control because they can easily give bribe because they have the money no matter how much is needed , but for someone who is poor he or she may not likely be able to afford a bribe to give out.

That is the reason why it will be possible for the rich to always be the winner or to be more powerful than the poor just because of this . But it is not really happening this way in most countries in which rules and regulation is equal to both the poor and the riches

Normally rich people are always to be respected , they are also influential but nowadays because of how things are, they are even becoming more powerful than the poor people which is not supposed to be so.

And also because of this the poor people cannot enjoy fair treatment because of the rich and so many other things.

Everybody should try as much as possible to work hard and at least be financially stable because there is so much respect with being rich nowadays as I understand.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That's the point of view of a political scientist. Power intoxicates and I won't be too quick to believe the rich use the power abitrarily as the poster said in her story until she as well controls money.

In my village, there is an adage that says, you only know the true nature of a poor man when he has money but for now that he is still poor, he's living on a borrowed behavior and attitude. This simply means the poor ad well has the tendency of misusing the power when they are stinky rich. That's why you will see a poor politician that changes his attitude immediately he becomes rich.

Though, I am not a party to the rich molesting the poor, according to the critiques of the Rule of Law by Dicey in 1885, one of the argument is that unequal distribution 9f wealth will always make some people to pervert justice. This is not a new thing as the Bible says in the book of proverbs that money answereth all things.

We all should be praying to be rich as well though not to be oppressed as some rich people do but for the betterment of the society. But the truth is that just like beauty and metaphysical power, money intoxicates.

In this world, money seems to rule over everything right. Money can do anything that you did not even think was possible. The love for money has made people grant favors to those who give it to them. So if you are rich, you are pretty much capable of doing anything because people will want you to pay them.

The rich can bribe even the government law system and get away with anything. That is why they were able to go through with accusing a young boy for a love affair that they agreed to with the rich girl. They even went ahead to produce a fake ID so that the poor boy can be arrested for defilement.

I guess this is the reason why people say that money is the root of all evil in the society. Money gives the rich so much power to act in whichever way they please. Which makes it so easy for them to murder people, steal from the poor and share government resources unequally.

But I believe that you can have money and still be humane. Humanity is a character that you build and those who have it, treats everyone equally, never considering their social class.

When you have money you have the power some people believes that money is power so they use it on poor people who can't speak up for them selves this is really wrong money can finish anytime and the poor person you oppressed might become richer than you, money is the root of all evil. Some situations can happen whereby the rich will be at fault but because of bribery the poor will be wrongly accused and jailed for a crime not committed.

Some people might seem nice when they are poor but when they become rich is when you will see their true behavior they will also be oppressing the poor forgetting they where poor once.

Even when they are reported corruption won't make them to be fairly dealt with instead the reporter will still be blamed, we should not fear them because they are rich, they are human beings like us therefore we should stand up and talk to them or pray to God to fight your battles.

I think rich people are getting more power than the poor people because they always spend their money to achieve that and they always ready to learn many things that can latter yield more gain to them.
Though there are some poor one that are also ready to seek for more knowledge to prosper bit there are is no more or resource to achieve that. That's why the rich always get richer and the poor some times also getting poorer.

There is often a very popular saying that says money stops nonsense and to a very large extent that is something that is very true . There is a lot of general in discipline in the society right now and as such you can be able to get anything that you want simply by having the most money . As much as this is true, there is also some mentality within reach people that ensures that they are always in power .

1. Nepotism . It is a very common thing between rich people that they always try to give jobs to other rich people and also allow their children to marry each other . This ensures that wealth is being circulated only within a particular group of people and as such the rich keep on getting richer .

2. Corruption . There are a lot of rich people who have power because of their corrupt practices . A rich person can be able to get away with virtually anything provided that he is able to pump in money in order to get justice or to be able to get jobs . This kind of practices are usually not good for the growth of the economy.

When they said money is power, this simply mean when u have money u can acquire or buy power with ur wealth. Riches go hand in hand with power and that is out powerful men and women today are wealthy people and those that are wealthy are the ones that get to power. A poor person does not have say at all in the present of a rich person because a rich person will always want use his wealth to oppress the poor man. The poor man is left with no choice in a society where he or she find him or herself. The rich person will use his wealth to buy political power which the poor can not get without been rich enough to sponsor him or herself. Been rich will help you to be connected to those in power of which those in power will also use their power and position to defend the rich people even when they commit a crime against an innocent power person. Living the life of a poor person in a society where there is no just law for the poor man is quite disheartening, not been rich should not be seen as a justification to oppress the poor.

It is practically and absolutely obvious why the rich and wealthy people in the world today seems to have power over the poor . Money rules the world and money has the ability and the capability to blind people from seeing things that need to be seen . Think about the practical example that you have a friend who promised to pay you $5000 for you to do something for him , offcourse you will be quick to judge your friend as been too generous and too hospitable for giving you $5000 . In this case you fail to see that the $5000 was given to you because he wanted you to do something for him and , sometimes no matter what the thing he wants you to do for him could be , but because of the amount of money you absolutely do not care . You have been obviously blinded because of the huge sum of the $5000 .

The rich are exploiting the poor today because they have the money and the world to do so . being rich does not only comes with having money it also comes with having respect and prestige and have the ability and the capability to enjoy all the good necessities of life , ranging from respect down to prestige .

In this part of the world the amount of the money that you have made is very commensurate to the amount of power than you will have. This should not be the cases, because power is not commensurate to the amount of money that you are able to make. Money is a very wonderful thing and for you to have gathered to much of it, to the extent of people calling you a very wealthy individual, you have gone through lots of experience. The time of ups and downs, the time when there will be no money to cater for your needs , the time when your business needs help etc. All of these experiences should not make you use the wealth that you have suffered so much to gather negatively on other people unjustly. Here, the believe is that if you have lots of money, you have gotten everything. The law of the country will not be fully be exercise on you accordingly. It will be very soft on you and that is what is obtainable in my country presently. Being very rich will make you all in all. You will do commit crimes so easily, because you must have bribed the authorities.

The answer to this question is obvious. Rich people have more power than the poor simply cause they are rich, they have the resources, connection and capital to backup their words. We are currently in a generation where no matter how smart you are, if your bank account is empty, no one would want to take your words seriously. Money speaks. The more their connection grows, the more powerful they become. This is why you see some rich families set up their sons and daughters to marry other rich children, just to gain more connection and power.
